Your community is our community, too,
and we feel lucky to be a part of it.
We give back in ways that excite and inspire us.

For more than 30 years, Accuwrite Print + Promo has been part of the Hershey community.

That’s not something we say lightly. To us, being a part of the community is a responsibility, part of the Golden Rule philosophy we embrace. It means showing our support for Hershey and its citizens, getting involved in efforts to support those in need around us, and always asking, “What more can we do?”

We are proud of our hometown, and we want to keep it thriving for the next generation – which already includes a few little ones related to us! Here’s a look at how our promotional products company remains invested and involved in Hershey.

Spotlight on: The Ronald McDonald House

The Ronald McDonald House is a Hershey institution. It provides resources and temporary housing close to the Hershey Medical Center for families whose children are being treated there. We donate products and goods to RMH because it’s right in our backyard. We hope to keep families’ spirits from flagging during a difficult time. We’ve participated in:

  • Magazine recycling program, partnering with hundreds of suppliers across the country, many of which produce yearly catalogs to showcase their products. Each year we do an intense cleanout, recycling those magazines with RMH, which profits off them.
  • Self-promo product donations, such as hand sanitizer and lip balm, offered on a quarterly basis.

Spotlight on: The Arc of Dauphin County

John’s sister, Susie, had Down syndrome. Up until her passing in 2016, she was a beloved part of our lives, and we give back to other families who have members with special needs through the Arc of Dauphin County, which provides advocacy, employment transition services, social activities and more for those with intellectual disabilities.

We have donated:

  • Business cards
  • Pens
  • Banners for special events

Spotlight on: Local Youth Sports Organizations

You can’t go far in Hershey without running into some type of ball field. We love watching kids compete, and sponsor their teams as a way to encourage our next generation of leaders and thinkers. It’s tons of fun when the kids drop by our office at the end of the season to tell us about their accomplishments.

Spotlight on: WIN: Women INvolved

This organization raises funds and coordinates drives for the Salvation Army. We collect food at Thanksgiving and sponsor a table at the Shoe Strut in September, an annual fund-raiser featuring a silent auction and luncheon.

These are just a few examples of how Accuwrite is committed to our community. We also assist the Hershey Food Bank, Cocoa Packs, the American Cancer Society and many more.
